Trash City
Trash City is a point-and-click adventure game following a character named Sam Burnout as he tries to piece together his grandmother's disappearance. The game is not done yet. We are hoping to release it this summer or so, but the demo did get a great reception at Games Y’all.

Story & Characters
The setting is a scifi city flooding with trash. Sam Burnout wakes up to red and blue lights soon pounding on the door. Officer Norman is on the other side, “Your grandma is missing” he tells him and with a rising serial killer on the loose the news sinks Sam’s Stomach. Maybe your neighbors at “Apartment Hive 32” know something about this? I drew many locations for the game, pretty much a lot of alleys and store fronts. There are 13 characters you interact with over the course of the game and they all have something to tell you, you just have to get it out of them through either kindness or meanness based on your dialogue choices. We plan on a full release before the summer ends

Austin and I are pretty good friends, so this project was the most fun I've had all year. We decided to split the work because I love illustrating, and Austin knows how to code. Austin allowed me to come up with the concept. I thought a murder mystery would be the most fun. Some of my inspiration is from 2010’s flash games like “Douchebag Workout” because the vibe the characters give off is gross and unique. I was inspired to explore creating uneasy-looking characters to keep the audience in a state of uneasiness. I also incorporated digital elements I had found and modified, including my friend's depression room. This is the project I am most proud of.

Trash City
Trash city is a point and click adventure game made using Ren'py. you play as a character named Sam Burnout and you are on a quest to find your missing grandmother and uncover the mystery that is going on around you. you talk to a variety of eclectic and weird characters and uncover clues to piece together the story. I personally illustrated the game and my group mate: Austin Daubert wrote and compiled the project. Overall it had good reception at Games Y'all where we showcased it and we plan to release the game in full this summer.
